August and holidays

August was a very intense month but also a month of reflection. The Occupational Centers here in Valencia are often closed during this month for the hot and for the holiday atmosphere, so I didn’t work in August. This allowed me to have time to reflect on the future and do a thousand other things. First of all, being with friends at the seaside in Gandia, a seaside town near where I live where I was lucky enough to meet friends from all over the world, spend days with them, party nights, eating new food and listening music. Then Moraira, where I spent a week in this beautifull paradise on the Spanish coast in an Erasmus + project where I met boys and girls from 5 different European countries, I made friends, created connections, shared emotions with them. This week spent with teenagers who were all different from each other is something that will remain in my heart forever and seeing how these projects are changing the adults of tomorrow is something that gives hope. Then also going on the southernmost coast of Valencia with friends and sleeping in a tent was another incredible experience. But I also know that in a little over a month I have an important exam in Italy, so I also had to study and spend some time thinking about the future. I say goodbye to August with nostalgia also because I know that the next one will be the last one here in Valencia, even if it seems like I arrived yesterday.
