Second Après-Coup: my first impression in Spain after one year  (October 2023)

Now that I have to write about some month ago in après-coup I have the opportunity to think about something that happened some time ago and to elaborate it while I’m writing this post. Now I have zero fear of making mistakes writing in English for example, and this is something that changes! This doesn’t mean that now I know english, for sure not, but the fact that I’m not scared to make mistakes is something that changes! Another changing is that now I can see my first month here from a different perspective, for example I can see from the face and the eyes of the new volunteers the desider I was feeling one year ago, something that I cannot do one year ago, because I was inside this desider that just now I can see from the outside. Now I have new dreams and I can see how important that period was for my life and how useful was my decision to come here to Spain. Now I can see my Spanish and English identities in their first step, I can see myself trying to build a new self that now I’m, I can see my first friends’ relationships that now are super intense and important. What a good feeling thinking about that first moment but what a good feeling now that I have the skills to imagine my future in different ways after this experience!
