November in Spain

November in the province of Valencia began with a natural disaster – heavy rains, thunderstorms, and flooding, which came as a shock to both Spaniards and foreigners. Due to the catastrophe, schools, youth centers, hospitals were closed for a while, transportation stopped working, there was a power outage, and even drinking water disappeared from grocery stores.

However, despite all of this, people gathered together and began to help and support each other both mentally and materially. People from Amics and I also went to help in the affected areas, providing humanitarian aid and distributing essential items like water, canned goods, masks, gloves, cleaning products, and more.

It’s important to realize that you bring good to this world by helping people who are in difficult situations and truly need assistance. It’s moments like these that make it pleasant to realize you are a small part of a larger mission.

All bad things eventually end… So life in the province of Valencia continues, and everything is gradually returning to normal. Youth centers have resumed their activities, holding various events for teenagers and preparing for the New Year’s events. One of the activities we are preparing for teens this month is a master class in Italian cuisine, making lasagna, pyssla thermomosaics, and screen printing.

So, we continue to live, develop, and engage in creativity. The most important thing in any situation is try to stay positive.
