February 🥰🍊🔆🏝️🌿🪷
This month was quite interesting and eventful. We had an activity with teenagers related to ecology. We went to the Turia River in Quart de Poblet to plant vegetation and take water samples to test their quality and check for the presence of aquatic animals.
Also, I started a new activity this month—I visit schools and conduct surveys among teenagers about how they spend their free time, what activities they engage in, and how they feel at home, at school, in the city, in the park, etc. We are collecting this information to better understand what interests young people have and what we can offer them to make their lives more engaging and fulfilling.
Additionally, Las Fallas started this month, and we attended an event related to this festival, spending time with the Amics team. We also had preparations for Quart de Nit, where I will be leading a cup-painting workshop. Other activities will include basketball, a discussion on sexual education, pancake cooking, salseo, and soft combat.
Last Friday, we attended a workshop at a senior residence, where we did embroidery and made amigurumi. Yesterday we also participated in an environmental forum, for which we designed and painted a tree. During the forum, we discussed ecological issues and possible solutions.
I continue to enjoy my life in beautiful Valencia, and I absolutely love it!
