Wonderful april in Valencia 🥰🙌🔆🐣

April turned out to be just as vibrant and eventful as the previous months.

I discovered new and amazing places — the castles in Xàtiva and Cullera. These locations impressed me with their beauty and breathtaking landscapes. Walking through the castles and enjoying the natural views left unforgettable memories.

We also visited a museum where we got a deeper look into the region’s culture. In addition, I took part in organizing the Quart de Nit event, where I was responsible for decorations. Some of the activities we organized included contact sports, role-playing games, skincare workshops, notebook and sticker design, and Easter cooking classes.

One of the most impactful experiences was participating in the Forum Jove — a forum where young people discussed important and relevant topics: what concerns them today, what kinds of activities they’re interested in, and what they feel is missing in their lives.

In addition, we went on a guided tour of central Valencia with La Gente Joven, a group of participants from different countries. There, we learned a lot about the city’s history and also had the chance to try traditional Valencian treats — horchata and farton — at the most famous horchatería in the city.

I also took part in a four-day training that took place in Mollina, Málaga. There were around 80 participants, and I really enjoyed it. We discussed the ESC program, presented our own projects, and held an Intercultural Fair, where I brought two bottles of horchata to share.

We explored the topic of communication, did some really fun creative tasks, played intensive games, and even put on some theatrical performances. Everyone had the chance to show their skills and talents.

We also talked about Youthpass and received useful links where we can find job opportunities and access free courses. The trainers shared their personal stories with us — each of them had once been in our shoes, which made it all feel very relatable and inspiring.

I came away with so many positive emotions. What meant the most to me was meeting lovely Ukrainians — those were truly special and meaningful moments, being surrounded by my people.
