September’s Agenda: A Copenhagen Weekend and Project Completions

September was a month of focused activity, combining a brief trip with several project completions. The schedule was notably full, but each item was a direct continuation of ongoing professional and personal interests.

The month began with a short weekend trip to Copenhagen. The objective was to experience local life rather than follow a strict tourist itinerary. I spent time at Tivoli Gardens and visited several museums, which provided a broader perspective on the city’s cultural offerings. This short break served as a reset before returning to my work projects.

Upon my return, a key focus was the launch of the new YouTube channel for the City Council’s Culture and Heritage department. My role was to assist in its creation and the posting of the initial videos. The purpose of the channel is to showcase the diverse collections of the municipal museums through short video formats. This initiative is designed to make the city’s heritage collections more accessible to a wider audience.

A major project concluded mid-month with the finalization of the exhibition catalog for the Valencian artist Antonio Samo. This catalog, a collaboration with the city of Angers, required a final review before printing. The artist and I conducted a joint verification of the print test. Following a few minor corrections, the catalog was approved for final printing.

The last weekend of September was dedicated to a professional visit. We hosted the Angers-based artist Choun Vilayleck and Élodie Derval, the head of the artothèque from the City of Angers. The primary goal was to introduce them to Valencia and specifically to the Galeria del Tossal, the venue where Choun will exhibit in February 2026. This meeting served to lay the groundwork for the upcoming exhibition and strengthen our institutional relationship with Angers.

In summary, September was defined by a mix of international travel and the successful completion of significant professional tasks, from digital content creation to print production. October is anticipated to be a quieter period, with fewer of these diverse and engaging projects on the schedule.
