October in Valencia: back to the routine
October was quite an intense month. After the week in Mollina and two weeks in Italy, getting back to my routine in Valencia wasn’t easy at first. The city had also changed — with the arrival of autumn and milder temperatures, the streets filled again with tourists, which meant a noticeable increase in work at La Lonja de la Seda.

There was also a small but exciting change in my schedule: on Thursdays and Fridays, I now work at the Museo Histórico del Ayuntamiento, located right in the heart of the city. It’s been interesting to discover a new working environment, learn more about Valencia’s history, and meet another team of colleagues.

On the personal side, I had more visitors this month — my cousin and his girlfriend came to see me. For a week, I got to play tour guide around Valencia, showing them the main sights, my favorite corners of the city, and of course, the best spots to eat paella.

October was busy and full of movement, but also rewarding. Between adapting to changes, welcoming visitors, and balancing different workplaces, I feel that every week adds a new layer to this experience.
