November in Valencia: quiet moments and meaningful connections
November was a rather calm and steady month in Valencia. My work routine continued between the Museo Histórico del Ayuntamiento and La Lonja de la Seda, places that now feel very familiar and where I feel increasingly confident and integrated. Without major changes or challenges, the month allowed me to settle into a comfortable rhythm and appreciate the everyday aspects of my project.

At the beginning of November, I travelled to Madrid to visit two fellow volunteers I met during the mid-term training. Spending time together again reminded me of one of the things I am most grateful for in this experience: the people I’ve met along the way. Sharing stories, laughs, and reflections with people who truly understand this journey made the trip especially meaningful.

Back in Valencia, we also celebrated the birthday of a colleague from La Lonja — someone who has grown from being just a coworker into a real friend. Moments like these made me realize how strong the connections I’ve built here have become, both inside and outside the workplace.

November may not have been full of big events, but it gifted me something just as valuable: time. Time to reflect, to enjoy simple moments, and to admire the beautiful sunsets that colored the city almost every evening. It was a quiet month, but one filled with gratitude, warmth, and meaningful connections.
