The Semana Santa was an impressive festivity to watch. The capuchinos with the long pointy hats could have been scary, if only they didn’t give sweets to the children waiting with open bags on the side of the parade.

For Eastern, it is a tradition to eat Monas de Pascua, a sweet pastry. So with the children in my baking workshop, we baked these together. They turned out amazing.


At work there was an Easter school for the children, it was pretty nice, we did a lot of treasure hunts and also went to the beach with the children.
